At El we work with a wide range of winemakers, we serve wines we love to drink.
We focus on low intervention, natural & interesting wines that are made by hand, with passion and attention, and pair perfectly with our food.
About Us
Hidden on 13 correction wynd, just off union street, El is exclusively limited to 10 guests.
We open Friday & Saturday only, doors open at 6:30PM where you are welcome to join us for pre-dinner drinks with the first snacks served at 7pm.
Please arrive on time to enjoy the full experience. We serve a 7 course tasting menu plus snacks each night.
We serve all guests together at the same time much like a Japanese omakases counter, our kitchen is small & the team is even smaller. For those who arrive late you will join the meal at the next course & previous dishes will be forfeited.
Dining at El takes approximately 2 - 3 hours & the table is yours for the night, no rush, no pressure, relax and enjoy.
We serve one menu at El, using mostly local produce with a few items brought in to compliment what we have already have & using finest ingredients we love to cook & eat.
Our dishes are inspired from travel, nostalgia, & the beautiful produce we receive every week with some classics along the way. Seasonal unpretentious flavour lead cooking.
Before the Booking
We'd like to remind your entire party to arrive promptly for your reservation so we can provide your table with the experience you deserve. Please note that we may not serve the full number of courses for guests who are more than 15 minutes late.
Due to the nature of the dining experience, we are unable to accommodate any dietary requirements and dislikes.If we are currently fully booked please add yourself to the standby list, or sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when we release further seats.
